Unchained Colors, Mooresville, NC
I am a self-taught artist. In 2014, I discovered my passion and talent, and have not stopped painting since. I painted over a hundred pieces and sold over 70 domestically and internationally. Mr. & Mrs. Allen, previous co-presidents of American Folk Art, North Carolina Chapter are among my collectors. My artworks are also currently displayed in some prestigious galleries, including Coffey and Thompson Gallery , Four Corners Gallery, DA’s office and Charlotte Art League.
I utilize thick and vibrant colors in my work which reflects my passion and personality. Each of them is a settlement of time and freezing of an emotion. I am not painting an object. I am expressing a sentiment, a longing. A love story never fades. A waiting never withdraws.
Five months before I started to paint, in Central Park New York, on the back of the bench I sat, there was a little plaque saying To Romance Life, a Loved One or even Yourself, at the End, it will Become Art. Is it a sign?
