Eric Soller Fine Art
Charlotte, NC
From his earliest memories, Eric has always had a strong interest in creating artwork and has pursued a lifelong commitment to learn and improve on his techniques and abilities. After graduated from the University of South Florida in 1980 with a BFA in printmaking, he began his professional career in graphic arts, working as an illustrator and designer in the northeast region of the country around Portland, ME, Manchester, NH and Boston, MA. The next twenty years were spent working with advertising agencies, marketing companies, product design studios and in-house corporate clients on a variety of large and small projects. In 2001 Eric transplanted to Chicago, IL to serve as Creative Director for the large international toy company, Beanie Babies, developing and designing product and collateral graphic material. These experiences took him to Hong Kong, China and South Korea to develop product and toys where he was exposed to new influences, production methods and mind-opening opportunities. Additional trips to Italy, Germany and London through the early 2000’s led to new opportunities for further growth and development of his lifelong artistic pursuits. Influences and the site of original Renaissance artworks and masterpieces from Rome and Florence continued to fuel Eric’s drive, and further develop his pursuit of his fine art career. Eric is building his fine art brand by exhibiting at the finest juried art festivals along the east coast, developing new custom commissions and pursuing representation at galleries in the best art destinations in the country. Eric produces unique, detail-rich artwork targeted to collectors who enjoy the water and live along the seacoast by creating original oil and pastel paintings. Created to capture the essence of the eastern coastline and unique marine seascapes with an emphasis on varying light, water and motion.
