I have been a silversmith since 1997 and work in .925 Sterling and .999 Fine Silver. I am a certified Precious Metal Clay Instructor and I teach Beginning Jewelry and Intermediate Jewelry through the Appalachian State University Craft Enrichment Program. I am a juried Member Artist in the Main Street Gallery in Blowing Rock, NC.
The incredible beauty and diversity of natural forms has always pulled at me, and I am especially taken by fossils and meteorites. More than 140 different gemstones, pearls, fossils, meteorites, ancient artifacts and other unique materials are displayed in my jewelry. I strive to showcase these natural creations as the focal point of my designs and use my metalwork in a secondary supporting role.
