For the Birds by Ray

Ray is a hard-working husband, father, and grandfather who worked in the heating and air conditioning field for 20 years before starting his gas piping business, Clark’s Gas Piping, Inc., in 1999.
Ray began his woodworking hobby in the early 1990’s, and started building decorative birdhouses as gifts for his family. After a couple years, he started to construct unique birdhouses and would donate them to his church for church fundraising events, and some for his church family as well. He would build one, two, and three-story log cabin birdhouses, barn birdhouses, octagon shaped birdhouses and birdfeeders, and many others he originally designed and built.
After a few years, at the urging of his friends and family, he decided to attend a couple of local festivals to see if his work would be well received. After several years of building and selling his work at area festivals, he has begun to design and build hummingbird houses and hummingbird feeders, both of which have been very popular sellers.
Ray continues to work continuously on his craft and not only enjoys creating new work, but he also enjoys attending the festivals and meeting new people.
