We Rock Charlotte inspires youth to make disruptive change through music and film. We Rock’s welcoming community encourages youth and gender diverse people to find their voice; We Rock empowers them to explore their creativity and inspire change within themselves and the world around them.
“This organization changed my life,” said Alex, a We Rock Charlotte teen camper turned music teacher. Because of youth like Alex, “Girls Rock Charlotte” is now “WE ROCK CHARLOTTE”. Inspired by their youth, WRC evolved to be even more gender inclusive. We Rock offers year-round arts and ally-centered programs; such as music lessons, film workshops, summer camps, school-year programming, group music classes for young children, and group classes for adults.
