I work with wood because it is a medium that truly speaks for itself. Each board has a unique grain pattern, texture, and color – making it the ideal canvas to highlight nature’s beauty. Each piece tells a story through the materials used—whether it’s wood milled from the property where I grew up, reclaimed trim from a 1900s farmhouse remodel, or scraps from other woodworkers.
My goal is to create unique and sustainable art that showcases natural beauty and gives new life to the material it is made from, while encouraging others to see the value and stories in reclaimed wood.
