Born in England July 1946. Attended Coventry College of Art. (Two years). Trained as a Master printer in Serigraphy, (fine art screenprinting), 1962-1966. Emigrated to US 1973. Established, Carson Tredgett-Serigraphics, Inc 1979. Lived and painted in the US Virgin Islands 2012 – 2014.
Had a successful one man show At Bajo El Sol gallery April 2014. Retired from my company 2012 to paint full time. My subject matter is primarily Caribbean scenes and culture. Painted mostly in acrylic on panel. The “Red Bicycle” theme, which appears in most of my paintings, represents my identity as I travel and paint my way through the Caribbean islands. I have just self published my memoir titled, “A Simple Life”. Available now.
