Bonny Calloway, Columbia, SC
Bonny Calloway is a native of North Carolina and has enjoyed an International career in Textile Design. She has designed Apparel, Home, and Rug Fabrications for leading U.S., European, Indian, and Chinese Companies.
She completed her Master’s at North Carolina State University in Product Design and Textile Technology where she was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Notable International Awards include the Prince Phillip Silver Medal Award for Excellence in Textile Design from The Royal Society of Arts, London.
Her handmade, one of a kind jewelry and accessory pieces combine a love of textile techniques with beading of semi-precious gemstones, soldering and gilding of metals, sculpting of semi-precious metals and re-purposing vintage keepsakes. Inspiration is drawn from all things in the sea and relating to Atlantean folklore.
