Monica Ann is an acrylic/mixed media artist of 5 years. Her passion for replicating the Masters’ artwork from canvas to a 3 dimensional platform was sparked by a desire to dress up a small old table into something unique for her home.
She then began her journey as an artist, specializing in fine art reproduction across all styles of art. She is drawn to the form of the furniture and tries to use color, technique and style to transform a neglected piece of furniture into a piece of living functional art.
Monica, her husband Michael, and their two rescue dogs (Joey, a senior blacklab, and LunaBell , a baby Great Pyrenees) have recently made Wadesboro their permanent home, after many years in LA and Chicago, and are excited to become part of the fiber of the North Carolina art scene.
