Former professor turned woodturner upon relocation to NC & enrollment in Fine & Creative Woodworking program at Rockingham CC. Since 2011 have worked on turning primarily bowls, platters, & deep vessels with an emphasis on unique finishing & surface embellishment techniques. Hence employ fractal burning and traditional wood burning to my pieces as well as unique colorations via food safe wood dyes, glazes, and gel stains. The end result is to achieve a functional product but also one that is captivating to the eye.
