I’m a self-taught artist, just finding my wings in the art world!
I started painting angels after the tragic death of my sister. Angels bring a sense of comfort and protection and painting them was a healing process for me.
I started creating them for others and Joyful Whimsy Art was formed.
My desire is to bring a little of God’s peace, joy and comfort to those in hardships. Especially to those that have lost a loved-one and need a reminder that they are being held close until the day we will see them again! I love the bible verse, “He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways”. Psalms 91:11.
My sister, Vicki, is an inspiration for every angel that I paint! I participate in local artisan markets throughout the year and in 2023, I was featured on WBTV during the QC@3 show!
I also love painting colorful and whimsical art and pairing them with motivational phrases, scriptures, or quotes. It brings me joy to continue the life of one of my paintings with hand-made greeting cards and prints.
My hope is that my art will bring joy to you too!
