Laura makes jewelry together with her mom and young daughters–three generations of women having fun together. It started as a hobby, making jewelry for friends and charitable events. The response was overwhelmingly positive; this encouragement was channeled into her entrepreneurial spirit and LilSofiaBug was born!
What Laura loves most is how transformative making and wearing jewelry is for the human spirit. It gives happiness a sparkle! Laura also makes jewelry as a form of cultivating self-care, esthetics, and loving relationships, so she wants to offer everyone the chance to create such gifts for others too. She truly believes that this is a craft that can be mastered by anyone who tries, may grow to like it, and claim it as theirs. For this, she will offer in addition to LilSofiaBug’s creations a UV resin pouring station with all you need to create your own masterpiece. The little ones get to experience this joy too at their Crafty Kids Corner.
Laura combines clay and resin with metal and beads and whatever may catch her interest. She doesn’t discriminate against colors and finds inspiration in nature. She finds her “treasures” on her walks – poppy petals, dried moss, lost earrings, shells that get “encapsulated” and get a new life, or in stores – virtual or brick and mortar – elevating their commonness to uniqueness.
