After a successful career in hotel and convention center management and having been a small business owner and buyer of a boutique, I wanted to continue exploring my creativity in a less stressful manner. I enjoy landscape design and the transformation of outdoor spaces into functionally artistic living spaces. In doing so, re-purposing became a way of looking at things differently including the beautiful glass my mother once cherished. It began with a simple teacup on a post morphing into sculpting mid-century flowers, hanging bird feeders and many other garden and home décor art forms. Many of my creations are sculptured by combining color and iridescence with the balance of form and shape revealing multi-dimensional works of art. I travel throughout the region searching for this incredibly beautiful and hard to find glass, enjoying the journey along the way. If you are wondering, DeLibel is Dutch for The Dragonfly!
