My love of jewelry design originated when I worked in the fashion industry in New York City for 11 years. As a Fashion Designer with Jones New York, my exposure to a variety of clothing and accessory designs inspired me to express my own artistic leanings in a different medium; metal based jewelry. What started as a side hobby has now become my fulltime career and passion. My family and I made the move to Davidson almost seven years ago and I haven’t looked back since. My jewelry is now carried in a variety of stores and boutiques throughout the Southeast.
Most of my work is metal based, using either sterling silver or 14kt gold-fill but I do sometimes use stones if I find the color or shape to be unusual or striking. I am mostly self-taught, through much trial and error, and each piece of jewelry that leaves my studio is forged, soldered, drilled, hammered and polished by me.
My jewelry is modern, clean, never fussy, but always fashion forward and special. I think my gift is creating pieces that are not only totally wearable and simple in design but with a twist on the classics. Each piece also has an organic feel due to the hands-on process that I use. I design for every woman, for everyday, and for every occasion.
