Deborah’s passion for painting and drawing was evident very young in life. As a child she studied oil painting for four years with a private teacher. After receiving her BFA from The Columbus College of Art & Design, she worked as a fashion illustrator and illustrator for many years. She also taught fashion illustration at the college and has given private and group painting lessons. Over the last decade Deborah has become a full time painter of the landscape and nature participating and selling her work at art shows throughout the U.S. Her paintings are bought by private and corporate collectors. Deborah resides in the Columbus, Ohio area. Her paintings are described as serene, meditative and atmospheric with hugging the line between realism and abstraction. She strives for the viewer to find their own story and experience in the paintings and to discover something new each time viewed.
