My name is Deci Ruiz and I have been doing pottery for about 25 years. I have always experimented with one thing or another as an artist but the first timeI put my hands in clay I knew I was home. I am from NJ and taught pottery for 15 years. Because I am self-taught it gave me a deeper understanding of how overwhelming this medium can be. Since moving down to South Carolina five years ago I have worked on building my new studio. I’m looking forward to doing more shows and continuing my artist Journey.
