A graduate of the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, I served printers and ad agencies for three decades as a graphic designer and illustrator. In the era of drawing boards and rubber cement, my skills set was in demand, but when computers took over completely, I abandoned the industry. When my recent retirement from the business world coincided with the Covid pandemic, I decided to begin painting — this time, not for clients, but for myself. Today, my goal is not to demonstrate the craft of painting or to imitate other artists, but simply to bring a smile to folks with a love of antiques, playful pets and childhood memories.
