Eric Holder Pottery
Fort Mill, SC
I started turning pottery in 2006 in Lenoir, North Carolina in a small studio alongside my instructor with thought of a function of functional wear such as bowls, cups and pitchers. I quickly learned about the Catawba Valley pottery tradition and my interest was immediately intrigued by the hand dug clay and the natural alkaline glazes fired in the ground hog kiln. I have teamed with my wife as well and we do seasonal pottery figurines, such as ghosts, jack-o’-lanterns and snowmen.
