Jeff grew up in Southeastern North Carolina in the marshes and tide pools of Ocean Isle Beach. After teaching in public schools for a decade, Jeff left teaching to pursue Art full time. With no previous experience in CNC work Jeff had to teach himself how to not only operate the CNC equipment, but also how to create designs using computer programs instead of pen and paper. After years of tinkering and learning with different materials and techniques Jeff settled on using high grade aluminum sheets as his medium of choice because of it’s durability and brilliant prismatic shine.
