A retired banker who took an unlikely turn into the world of art, I initially started making charcuterie boards at my daughter’s request. After watching many videos and creating a few clunkers, I ended up with three boards I liked. I put the extra two in a yard sale, and, as luck would have it, a local artisan who did shows happened to be there. They told me my work was great and that I should participate in shows, and that’s how it all began. Now, some three and a half years later, I’ve sold over 1,000 charcuterie boards and wood/epoxy tables, won awards, and loved every minute of it. I found my true calling after my career, or maybe it found me.
