I am an artist living with my kids and husband in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
While I have always been creative, I am not formally trained in watercolor. After obtaining my undergraduate degree from UNCG in History and Secondary Education, I taught high school Social Studies in Greenville, NC.
My family and I moved to Winston-Salem, NC to be near family during Covid and I began to dabble in watercolor. I fell in love! Watercolor became a way to cope with all of the new and sometimes scary things that were happening. As I am not formally trained, my style is uniquely my own. My artwork reflects who I am as a person, my passions, my dreams and my sorrows. It allows me the freedom to be uniquely me.
