Lellow Lolly, Charlotte, NC
Charlotte-based artist, Kim Hanzo, is a professional illustrator and graphic designer with more than 20 years experience designing and providing creative direction within the fields of marketing and publishing.
Kim graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Illustration and MFA in Painting, having learned under the direction of Baseball Hall of Fame illustrator Bob Dorsey. While attending RIT she also had the privilege of meeting award-winning children’s book author Jerry Pinkney and reknowned political artist, Sue Coe.
Inspired to use her talents to create purposeful and meaningful items, Kim formed Lellow Lolly in 2016. Her multi-media work, featuring positive, mindful messages paired with light-hearted imagery has been included in Hopebox subscription boxes and is available at six North Carolina Hallmark stores.
