Kristina Tomkie graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2011 with a degree in business. Following graduation, she pursued a career as a project manager in finance. However, Kristina always had an itch to explore her more creative side. Upon getting engaged in 2014, Kristina envisioned a great opportunity to fuel her creative side and decided she would design all of her wedding stationery. After long nights of learning design applications, perfecting the art of hand lettering and selecting the perfect envelope liners, she was hooked! After the wedding and moving to Charlotte with her husband, Kristina decided this was the best time to leave the corporate world for good and pursue her artistic passion full-time!
In 2016, Kristina started My little Design Company, offering a variety of greeting cards and custom stationary, strategically paired with a lined envelopes.
