Born and raised in Spain, I came to the US on a scholarship to study philosophy at Berkeley. Changed to Film & Television after a few years and never looked back. Today after 40 years as a successful television producer, writer, and director, traveling the world offered me a cultural human experience I’d dreamed of from my early childhood in Spain.
Now I wanted to explore one of the most significant parts of any culture, music. Unfortunately, I can’t sing or play anything, but I am a painter, a sculptor a creator a dreamer and yes… an artist.
If music is the art of sculpting with sound, then songs are segments of those vibrational sculptures colored with rhythms, harmonies and rhymes. It’s a highly emotive medium that has the power to connect us to moments in time, other beings – even ourselves – and spans the time continuum of past, present and future. I try to bring it all together with my art. The ARTSONGS I create are my way to capture these moments and emotions carefully handcrafted in three-dimensional forms to BRING MUSIC TO LIFE.
My ultimate aim is to fuse those memories produced by music and sound with the physical textures and forms to transcend not only geography and cultures, but time!
