Marge Luttrell, Knoxville, TN
Marge Luttrell is an encaustic mixed media artist from Knoxville Tn. She has Masters in Art from University of Tennessee and is a former Fulbright Scholar. Luttrell paints with beeswax, resin and pigment and then fuses with heat. She explores the nature of myth which is universal yet is connected through layers of ancient and present. Wax enables them to persist, revealing layers of time as their own brand of relic.
