Who would have known what once was a hobby has turned onto a rewarding business.I had no idea when I started taking weaving classes 30 years ago how much joy I would receive from this hobby.It is a constant of source of learning. Weaving which has become my passion is completely different from my vocation which was in chemical research. While living in Illinois I attended many classes and workshops taught ny Master Weavers. As a result I have passed the knowledge on to others while teaching beginning weaving. My hobby eventually turned into a business about 14 years ago I do all the weaving in my studio on three large floor looms. I purchase the yarn from a mill in South Carolina. and have the yarn dyed here in North Carolina. I sell all of my weaving in a few boutiques and in Art Shows in the Southeast.
