I mine stones throughout the US & polish them on my lapidary equipment. Next I use Precious Metal Clay (PMC) to create silver or gold settings to showcase these stones. I also create elaborate puzzle-pieced bracelets & necklaces from a method I invented using PMC Paper Clay, PMC 3, syringe solder & traditional metal smiting techniques. (I can provide video demonstrations of my methods if interested.) I am excited to announce that my new techniques have been recognized in the PMC world. I have been asked to write a technical book on my methods. I will begin the book in January 2016.

I am an unusual artist as I create art in many mediums instead of sticking to one specific medium. I take classes every year to expand my techniques. Because of this I also fuse glass. I have also crated my own procedures for glass fusing. I grind glass into powder and add water to it which allows me to paint with glass on glass. This allows me to fuse imagery into the glass and create scenes.
