Ask anyone you know over age 50 how old they were when they became who they are. Most honest people say something like, “I’m still figuring it out.” So, when it takes two soulmates over 50 years to find each other, they’ve probably both done a lot of evolving, know what they don’t want, and know what they need to be happy. We are those two people.
We got married in our own backyard in 2020. We both have a long history of working hard and putting our hearts into something we can be proud of. One is a tech guru by day, but brings a lifetime of woodworking and building. The other is a retired jazz vocalist and brings a lifetime of creativity and artistry. Both know how to dream BIG. And, neither will listen to the words, “It’s impossible” if it’s something important to our kids or ourselves. My husband makes my “canvases” and I take it from there.
We create beautiful wooden works of art that make people smile, get art lovers excited, and make festival-goers say, “I’ve never seen anyone else do anything like this!” We know. And, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
