Richard Lee is a retired corporate executive from the banking and consulting industries. He had a keen interest in art and design as a teenager, and served an apprenticeship to become a design draughtsman and technical illustrator in the aerospace industry. He didn’t take up painting until after his retirement. He is an avid scratch handicap golfer and travels extensively to either play golf or discover new parts of the world by motorcycle. He mostly uses his own photographs and experience to inspire his paintings and tries to capture the drama of the location and to highlight the unique elements of golf course architecture.
