Crosby’s Cuttings

I am a potter that has been working in this medium since 2013.
I retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a Paralegal. After retirement, I put my passion for creating to good use and started creating one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces. I create items using a pottery wheel as well as hand building.
The prominent themes in my work are color, color, and more color. I create a variety of ceramic pieces to include coffee mugs, platters, Pumpkins, Weaved baskets, phone stands, trinket trays, etc.
My subject matter is nature, water, animals and people. I create things that I hope are useful to others and at the same time “art.”
I am passionate about the endless possibilities this medium provides and am always experimenting with new ways, techniques and color combinations.
