Spiky succulent and brought it home. I was given the instructions to water it once a week. Simple enough, right? So that’s what I did and low and behold it began to bud. Every morning before work I went out on my porch to check on it until it finally bloomed. It was the sweetest little yellow bloom. It seemed symbolic to me at the time and felt as if that was the succulent’s way of saying thank you. I then began to collect different types of succulents and discovered all different types of blooms. The obsession came quite naturally. I then was challenged to make my first succulent wreath. It took me several hours and a lot of patience. The results were inspiring!
I wanted to make different types of arrangements using all the plants I love and share them with everyone. I managed to get my own succulent greenhouse and started growing the “raw material” myself. It was a rough journey learning the ropes without a mentor or a succulent expert but the books, online articles, growers in California, and good old trial and error made it possible. Now I design arrangements using over 100 succulents and cacti.
My arrangements vary from sphagnum moss wreaths to small wedding favors. I provide living home décor that give people a chance to let love grow. My gardens are all handmade. Each arrangement has its own personality and style.
